GPS & Navigational Aids

As with all Windows Mobile ® devices, GPS is becoming an increasingly popular add on. For a fraction of the new "in car" options costs it is now possible to have a full GPS solution that utilises the power of your mobile device whilst reducing your overall costs. On most devices there are many options available - Tom Tom Navigator and Destinator are two of the most popular.

AGB Global also provides dedicated solutions on standard devices (those without an integrated phone). On devices that don't have a GPS receiver built in, it is necessary to either purchase a car kit with a GPS receiver built in or an add on accessory. AGB also recommend that you buy a sufficient SD/MMC card to load the maps onto. A 256MB card will be sufficient to hold most data for UK/Europe depending on the detail required.

It is important to make this point, as most devices currently come with either 64Mb or 128 Mb of useable memory as we would not want you to be disappointed by not fully appreciating the data storage requirements of the maps themselves.
